Kinney, Corliss R. “A system correlating molecular structure of organic compounds with their boiling points. I. Aliphatic boiling point numbers.” Journal of the American Chemical Society (American Chemical Society) 60, no. 12 (1938): 3032-3039.

Corliss Kinney published nineteen journal articles from 1927-1943 on aspects of synthetic chemistry. The most cited article was from 1938 on correlating the boiling point with the structure of organic compounds. Kinney did not retain the rights to his articles.
